“Early childhood” as occurring before the age of eight, and it is during this period that a child goes through the most rapid phase of growth and development. Their brains develop faster than at any other point in their lives, so these years are critical. The foundations for their social skills, self-esteem, perception of the world and moral outlook are established during these years, as well as the development of cognitive skills.

When your child is 2 years old, one of the most important decisions that you need to make is the choice of the right preschool for him/her. As 50% of the brain development takes place from 2 to 4 years of age, it is critical that you take the right decision so that your child receives the right foundation for life. However, in the presence of a large number of preschools with varied facilities, making the right choice often becomes confusing.

Most children under five years old are not yet ready for formal studies. Early childhood education should be skill oriented rather then theory- and exam oriented. Different kinds of play help children to develop socio-emotional, physical and cognitive skills in a balanced way and thus prepare young children by developing skills for formal learning such as reading, writing and mathematics. Skills can only develop through practice.
